Rules of conduct, platform usage, intellectual property, account termination and liability limits.
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Vouch2 (vouch2.com), a hospitality hiring platform where workers build a reputation from vouches given by people they actually worked with, and where hospitality businesses discover that talent.
By creating an account, browsing the platform or subscribing to a business plan, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Vouch2.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to work in the market you present yourself in.
Worker accounts are for individuals only. A worker profile must describe the real person who controls the account. Business accounts must be registered and operated by an authorised representative of that business.
One person may hold one worker account. Accounts may not be shared, sold, rented or transferred.
You are responsible for the accuracy of everything on your profile: your name, roles, skills, licences, certifications, hotels you worked at and the dates you worked there.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.
Vouch2 may suspend or remove content or accounts that appear false, misleading, impersonating, abusive or otherwise in breach of these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
A vouch is a two-way confirmation between two people who worked at the same hotel. A vouch only counts once both sides confirm it.
Vouches can only be requested between accounts that share a hotel in their work history. This restriction is enforced by the platform.
Your Trust Score is calculated from confirmed mutual vouches, the reputation of the people vouching, the range of properties you worked at, and profile completeness. The formula may change as the platform improves.
Vouches are personal statements by other users. Vouch2 does not independently verify each individual vouch and does not guarantee its accuracy.
You keep ownership of the photos, video clips and text you upload. You grant Vouch2 a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, resize, compress and display that content for the purpose of operating the platform and showing your profile to the audiences described in our Privacy Policy.
You must only upload content you own or have permission to use, and you must not upload content featuring other people without their consent.
The Vouch2 name, logo, design, copy, product features and Trust Score methodology belong to Vouch2. You may not copy, adapt, reverse engineer or resell any part of the platform.
Business features such as viewing private contact details and reaching out to workers require a paid subscription. Billing, renewals and cancellations are described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, and business conduct is described in the Employer / Business Agreement.
You may delete your account at any time from your profile page. Deleting your account removes your data from the platform as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate access, with or without notice, where we reasonably believe there has been fraud, fake vouching, scraping, harassment, non-payment or any other breach of these terms or applicable law.
Vouch2 is a discovery and reputation platform. We are not an employer, employment agency, recruiter or party to any employment relationship, contract, offer or dispute between a worker and a business.
The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vouch2 is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, for lost profits, lost opportunities or hiring outcomes, or for the acts of any user. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100 if you paid nothing.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email, and continued use after the change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Vouch2 is established, and disputes will be handled by the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless local consumer law gives you a different right.
